Life happens, a phrase I seemed to have used a lot lately! I have learned through life ready or not life happens, moves quickly, and moves on regardless. On a daily basis unexpected things happen in life and we have to choose how to handle it and move on. I do have to say I am very thankful I have God and the Lord Jesus Christ as a guide who helps me through all situations, including the difficult ones.
How have I felt most recently? Recently, especially this week, I feel like I blinked my eyes and my wonderful handsome son is in pre-k already somehow! I am afraid to blink again because I am afraid he will be driving down the road before I know it. It seems like yesterday my baby boy was being born and now he is in big boy school.
Sometimes in life we come across those unexpected turns and we have to figure out how to handle the situation and keep going. As I said earlier, I am very thankful to have God and Jesus as a guide because without faith there is no telling where I would be in life right now.
I have came across some unexpected turns in my life in the last year but step by step I am getting through them. As you know, if you have read some of my previous posts I lost my mother when I was just 19 years old, I had to learn to grow up myself without a mother to guide me and help me. Tough, but I am handling it and hopefully doing an okay job at it. In the last year I lost one of my Aunts and that has been tough for me because she was my mother’s sister and also a great encourager to me after my mother passed away. Sometimes in life we don’t realize how much someone means to us until they are gone. My Aunt was one of the few people that would encourage and inspire me often by telling me I was like my mother and how my mother would be proud of me and that helped me in so many ways and was very uplifting to me. A few months later I lost my Grandmother, my biggest encourager and inspiration of all time, especially after my mother passed away. Grandma would always lift me up and remind me of all the good and remind me to count on God and Jesus and pray about everything! If I was down one day I knew I could count on grandma for a pick me up!
Moral of the story…life will always take unexpected turns, you will go through storms, big ones and little ones, you have to choose how you move forward and move on, you have to move on one way or the other. For me, what I know, that keeps my head up and keeps me moving forward is knowing I have God and Jesus on my side and I can face anything and come out stronger than I was before. Do you realize and know how much Jesus loves me? Do you realize how much Jesus loves you? Jesus will never leave your side no matter what because He loves you so so so so much it’s unimaginable, He died for me, you, and everyone! Ask Jesus to come into your heart and be with you!
Storms will always come and go but once you get through the storm think about how much stronger of a person you are and will be! There is victory on the other side!

I wanted to end with some facts and encouraging words from our God and Lord and Savior.
When you do not know where to turn or how to get through something, turn to God, He has the answers and will help you through the storm whatever it may be!
Treena Sue,
Wow. Just want to thank you for reminding me how much Jesus loves me. Some days I feel so desperate and ask “why” so many times. But the days I say “ why not me” come more frequently. God sent His only son to this earth to live and experience everything we go through. He has felt everything we go through. Praise His name. He will make us strong for His service. I know He is real and will keep His promises.
You are such a strong person, Treena. You have been through more in your young life than most young ladies will ever go through. Don’t ever quit professing your faith. You ARE doing a good job!! Thanks for all the encouraging scriptures.
Aunt Janet,
Thank you for the kind words. I am glad you enjoyed the blog. You are a beautiful person inside and out, and a blessing to many many people, some people you may not even realize. Keep up your great work for the Lord! May God bless and be with you always, love you!
